The Medical Council of India Screening Test, also known as the Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE Exam), is a licensure examination conducted by the (NBE) National Board of Examinations in India.

To obtain a licence to practise medicine in India, Indian students who earned their MBBS degrees overseas in nations such as Russia, China, the Philippines, Georgia, Kirgizstan, Kazakhstan, Nepal, Bangladesh, and other foreign countries must pass the FMGE Exam for Foreign Medical Graduates. Only those applicants are qualified to take the FMGE who have earned their MBBS from MCI-recognized medical universities abroad.

From 2023, FMGE Exam and NEET-PG will be combined and replaced by NEXT: National Exit Test, a common exit test for MBBS graduates from both India and abroad.
