NEET UG 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates pairing for NEET must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. To be eligible for NEET 2023, a candidate must:
- Be an Indian citizen or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
- Have completed 17 years of age as of 31st December 2023
- Have passed class 12 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects
- Have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology in the qualifying exam (for general category candidates)
- Have secured a minimum of 40% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology in the qualifying exam (for SC/ST/OBC candidates)
- Not have more than 25 years of age (for general category candidates) or 30 years of age (for SC/ST/OBC candidates)
NEET 2023 Application Process
Here’s a step-by-step guide on the NEET 2023 application process:
Step 1: Registration
Visit the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) and click on the NEET 2023 registration link. Enter your personal details such as name, date of birth, mobile number, email id, and Aadhaar number. Create a password and choose a security question and answer. Submit the details to complete the registration process.
Step 2: Filling the Application Form
Log in to your account using your registration number and password. Fill in the application form by providing your personal details, academic details, and communication details. Select the examination center of your choice from the available options. Upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature as per the specified format and size. Review the application form and make corrections if required.
Step 3: Payment of Application Fee
After submitting the application form, you will be redirected to the payment page. Select the payment method (credit card/debit card/net banking/UPI) and enter the required details. Pay the application fee as per your category.
Step 4: Printing of Confirmation Page
After the successful payment of the application fee, download and print the confirmation page. The confirmation page serves as proof of submission of the application form. Keep it safe for future reference.
NEET UG 2023 Admit Card
The NEET 2023 Admit card will be released a week before the exam date. Candidates will be updated when the admit card will be released by the NTA.

To download the NEET result from the official NTA sites, you will need to visit one of the three server official links provided by NTA. Once you’re on the site, you will be prompted to enter your application number and date of birth (DOB).
